Vodafone的签约机Blackberry Storm 9500应该是目前BB商务机里的旗舰商品了，从规格和各项属性来看，怎么都觉得是为了迎战iphone而推出的，虽然个人觉得在屏幕的multi-touch和软件功能扩展性方面离iphone还有一定的距离。

由于是欧洲的定制机型，全英文系统无中文显示，所以boss让我帮忙刷中文OS。

虽然最终成功刷机，不过还真是费了不少力气，总结了一下主要有以下几个难点：
1. 第一次真正意义上接触BB的smartphone，对其系统，PC suit和刷机流程不熟悉；
2. 前期准备工作做得不够充分，光下载DM 4.7和官方OS就花了不少时间；
3. 刷机过程中遇到未知错误...
n. 不是自己的手机，刷机心理压力大，万一变砖多尴尬，说不准工作都没了 - -#

前两点也还好，爬几篇帖子就能搞定，却在第三点纠结了两个多小时...

按照网上的刷机流程先下载安装了DM 4.7和官方中文OS 4.7.0.122，考虑到老板是HKer，不会打拼音也不会笔画，只要求能显示中文，所以没有采用中文混刷。

一切准备就绪之后将C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader目录下的vendor.xml文件删除，将9500与电脑连接，update却只有.144和两个old version，安装本地rom 4.7.0.122提示“您的设备软件不需要软件更新”（这里发现BB比Nokia的更人性化一些，因为BB的系统还可以降级..）。

百度了52blackberry发现有人遇到同样的情况，有人说是通过反复安装DM搞定，当然对这个答案不是很满意，又费时又费神，只好求助于外国站点，毕竟9500没有在国内上市加之水货又价格不菲，在国内的普及率还是比较小的。

果然很多的外国朋友也遇到了同样的问题，很多自称是刷机高手的网友也为这个问题困惑不已，有人说是因为DM 4.7的自动更新引起的，用回DM 4.6可以解决，可是9500是新机，DM 4.6又不支持，直接用loader引导安装又出现程序错误。

所谓功夫不负有心人，爬了N页帖子后终于找到了解决方案。

以下为VISTA系统解决方法：

安装完DM 4.7与.122官方OS之后删除vendor.xml文件并重启电脑，然后进入文件夹C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader右键单击Loader.exe，以管理员身份运行，然后安装old version就能看到你需要的版本了。

我只能说，看来BB的PC suit的兼容性还需要改进...
